I encountered a bug

Pretty awesome game, gave up on the demon beast though. I'm sure he's beatable, but I didn't feel like putting in the time to learn the pattern of his fireballs.

On the purple knight I encountered a bug though. I was lobbing fireballs at him when the battle started, and once he spun at me he stopped and got dizzy at the closest fire pillar. Here's where it gets wierd. While he's dizzied, he starts moving to the right slowly, and then he did his spin move in that direction, away from me. By the time I dodged all the fires on my way over there, he was gone. Off the map I would assume. He didn't come back after 2-3 minutes of waiting. When I ran out of fireballs and he was off the map, just for the hell of it I clicked the fireball spell again. Then the name at the bottom changed from "Purple Knight" to "undefined". Just thought I'd let you know

Well, it was good.

I played all the way through it.... which was like 2 hours lol, so that's saying something. The hit/miss ratio was a 'little' over the top. Maybe if you tweaked it a little to make the hits more frequent then the misses, because for most of the game I was only hitting about 40% of the time.
I would've liked to enchant my creations, but I couldn't find a way to increase the success ratio :/
The only major problem I had with it, was that I spent 3 hours, and just when I was starting to be a super badass it cut me off :/ I know "blah blah blah kongregate", but seriously? Lame >.> If it weren't for the whole "go to kongregate, because we're cutting you off on newgrounds" thing, it woulda been a 10

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

It was so hard for me not to write a review until now, but I had to save it for my first good song. (which will be at the bottom for those of you who are too lazy to read the rest, and are also incredibly stupid)

The only concerns I had with it, you covered in the author comments.

The lag is my biggest problem, but my complaining won't make a fix that's already being worked on come any faster.

The complexity blew my mind. Dude, you rule so hard. It took me forever to make my first song worthy enough to keep, but now I know the riffs a little better. I have no musical experience, so a learning curve is expected.

The controls I changed up before I even started to play. I adjusted them to my fancy. It works pretty well, so if anyone else wants them, it's:

upleft=z, up=up, upright=x
downleft=left arrow, down=down, downright= right arrow.

Take em or leave em, but it's what works best for me.

I noticed when I first put a new note down, that the previous not and it didn't really fuse soundwise very well, and therefor didn't flow. When I replayed it another time or two though, it seemed to flow much nicer. Something you may want to look into, but it's not the biggest deal.

Anyway, here's my song. I put a lot of effort, time, and hot pockets into it to tweak it just right. It's not easy, and it's not too hard (I play on bass, cause it seems to be the easiest for most songs and I'm a noob). I call it Schizophrenic Cowboy :D 1 minute 40 seconds of pure ecstasy, if I may brag ;P
